Privacy notice
Last updated October 17, 2026. This covers thefiberfeed.com, including the fiber quiz and the newsletter.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you enter it.
- Your quiz answers and result, including your fiber type: your food habits, the sex and age band you pick for your target, any fiber supplements you say you use, and the foods you'd eat more of. We collect these only when you enter your email to unlock your plan.
- How you found us: a referral code if a friend sent you, and campaign tags in the link (UTM tags). If a friend shared their result, the link may also say which fiber type they got.
- Anonymous site analytics: page views, which quiz step people stop at, and which fiber type results are shown, through Vercel Web Analytics. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.
Why we use it
- To email you a copy of your result, and a reminder to retake the quiz about 30 days later.
- If you tick the box or join the newsletter: to send one fiber email a week and the 30 Days to 30 Grams challenge.
- To understand, in aggregate, how people eat and where the quiz loses people, so we can make it better.
Who we share it with
We use Klaviyo to store email addresses and send email, and Vercel to host the site. They process data for us under their terms. We do not sell your data, and we do not send your quiz answers to advertising platforms such as Meta, TikTok or Google.
Your choices
- Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To see, correct or delete your data, email tyler@thefiberfeed.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
- You can take the quiz without an email. You'll see your fiber type, your estimate and your target; the plan and full breakdown need an email.
How long we keep it
We keep your email and quiz result while you're subscribed or until you ask us to delete it.
Health information
Your quiz answers describe your eating habits and supplement use. Some state laws treat this as consumer health data. We collect it only with your action (entering your email), use it only for the purposes above, and delete it on request.
Not medical advice
The quiz gives an estimate based on typical servings. It is educational and is not a diagnosis or medical advice. Talk to your doctor before changing your diet, especially if you have a digestive condition.
How the quiz estimates
Each answer maps to typical servings using USDA fiber data, so your number is within a few grams, not exact. The same answers always give the same fiber type. Targets are the National Academies' adequate intakes; "Prefer not to say" uses the 28 g Daily Value. The 25 to 29 g finding is from Reynolds et al., The Lancet, 2019.
